A 45-year-old Indian expatriate was stabbed to death, allegedly by another Asian man, in Qatar on Monday.
The incident, which happened near Wakra, followed an altercation between the two, Gulf Times has reported citing community sources.
The victim has been identified as Ashraf Valiyakath Abdulla Kutty, hailing from Chemmannoor in Kerala’s Thrissur district.
The body has been moved to Al Wakra Hospital mortuary, the report added.
This is the second murder reported in Qatar’s Indian community within a fortnight.
A week ago, the decomposed body of an Indian businessman was found in a villa in the Matar Qadeem area.
The victim, another Keralite, had been running two translation centres in Najma and Mansoura.
