Doha Airport now has a 24×7 office for MoI services

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has opened a new office at Hamad International Airport (HIA) for issuance of exit permits, renewal of residence permits and other services.
The office is located at the departures terminal close to the luggage weighing counter.
To ensure smooth operations, three counters have been facilitated in addition to a special counter for the officer in-charge.

In a statement from MoI, Maj. Nasser Jaber al Maliki, Head of the Travel Permits Section of Airport Passports Department said that the office will work 24×7 to provide services like issuance of exit permits, renewal and cancellation of residence permit under personal sponsorship, payment of fines related to passports and visas etc.

Ft. Lt Sultan Abdullah Al Noaimi, officer at the Entry Permit Section urged the citizens and residents to utilize Metrash2, MoI web portal or service kiosks available in shopping centres and ministries as well as service centres in all parts of the state in to complete their transactions with the Ministry of Interior.

Al Noaimi said that many people who are not aware of exit permit issuance and expiry of residence permits can approach the centre to complete their procedures within few minutes in order to travel in the scheduled time itself.
