Normal consular and other services could not be rendered on three working days (June 22, 23 and 26) but the embassy ‘promptly attended to emergency cases even during the period of relocation’, the Embassy said in a statement.
Consular services, as on any working day, were also rendered to applicants for non-emergency cases who visited the new premises.
The embassy expressed gratitude for the support and co-operation of the authorities concerned in the Government of Qatar for its relocation to the new premises. It also thanked Ooredoo chairman Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohamed bin Saud al-Thani and the Ooredoo team for their support in installing communications on the new premises.
