Indian PM to address NRI community at the Dubai Opera

The Indian community reception with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to take place at the Dubai Opera on Sunday, February 11 at 9:30 am, Khaleej Times has reported citing officials at the Indian Consulate in Dubai.

Consul General of India to Dubai Vipul told the newspaper that 1,800 people are expected to participate in the event at the opera.

Dubai Opera is a 2,000-seat, multi-format, performing arts centre, which is located within The Opera District in Downtown Dubai.

It was developed by Emaar Properties to host a variety of performances and events including theatre, opera, ballet, concerts, conferences and exhibitions.

Earlier this month, Modi was announced as the guest speaker for the sixth World Government Summit scheduled to take place from February 11- 13.

The three-day annual event will also see India as the guest country. Modi will meet top UAE leaders to further enhance the bilateral relations between India and the UAE in various fields.
