India’s Air Vistara, a joint venture of Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines, has announced that it will be operating daily direct flights to Dubai from Mumbai, starting from August 21, 2019.
The airline will use its Airbus A320neo aircraft with three-class cabin configuration to fly to and from Dubai, making Vistara the first airline to offer the choice of Premium Economy class for travel between India and the UAE in addition to Economy and Business Class.
The introductory all-inclusive return fares for Mumbai-Dubai-Mumbai start at Rs17,820 and for Dubai-Mumbai-Dubai start at Dh765, the airline said.
Flight UK 202 from Dubai will depart at 7:15 pm and reach Mumbai at 00:15 am. Flight UK 201 from Mumbai will leave at 4:25 pm and reach Dubai at 6:15 pm.
Customers can also take convenient one-stop connections to several other Indian cities beyond Mumbai, including Amritsar, Chandigarh, Delhi, Jammu, Lucknow, Ranchi, Raipur, Srinagar, Varanasi and more.
Vistara is the highest-rated Indian airline on Skytrax and TripAdvisor, and winner of several ‘Best Airline’ awards.
Earlier in July, the company announced the launch of its international operations from next month with flight services to Singapore from New Delhi and Mumbai. Vistara will operate two daily flights to Singapore, one each from New Delhi and Mumbai, starting from August 6 and August 7 respectively, the airline said in a release.
The Delhi-based carrier currently operates to 24 domestic destinations. The international services to Singapore will be operated by a Boeing 737-800NG aircraft with a two-class cabin configuration, business and economy,
Bookings for flights from Dubai are now being opened progressively on all channels, including www.airvistara.com, Vistara’s iOS and Android mobile apps, and through Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) and travel agents.
