Qatar Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani sent a cable of congratulations to President Ram Nath Kovind on his election and swearing in as President of the Republic of India, Qatar News Agency reported.
Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani also sent a cable of congratulations to the President Ram Nath Kovind on his election and swearing in as President of India.
Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani also sent a similar cable of congratulations to President Ram Nath Kovind, the report said.
India-Qatar cooperation in diverse sectors has been steadily growing in an excellent framework provided by historically close ties and regular and substantive engagement, including at the highest levels of the two Governments.
